Privacy
What we collect. You can use the live feed, market view and decoder without an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account ID. We store these with your settings (region, language, the politicians you follow), your plan, and daily usage counts (AI reads and searches) that enforce plan limits.
Text you paste. Text you send to "AI read" goes to an AI model through OpenRouter and its model providers so it can be analysed. We don't store pasted text. Don't paste confidential or personal information.
Payments. Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. We receive your subscription status, renewal date and a customer ID so we can switch Pro on and off.
Cookies and storage. We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also remembers your language and region choice locally. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Google's sign-in button is loaded from Google and is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Server logs. Our server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to rate-limit abuse.
Your choices. You can change your settings or delete your account at any time from the account menu. Deleting your account removes your profile, settings and usage records. Cancel any active subscription first from "Manage subscription". To ask about your data, email privacy@meantly.com.

Portraits of public figures come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their free licences (public domain or Creative Commons). Each is credited below. To report a wrong photo, email the address above.
Terms of use
What Meantly is. Meantly interprets the rhetoric of public political speech. Readings are automated hypotheses, produced by an AI model and a pattern engine. They can be wrong, they do not check facts, and they are not statements about any person's honesty or character.
Not advice. Market tags describe the pressure a speaker appears to signal. They are not forecasts and not financial or investment advice.
Sources. News items show short quoted passages with a link to the original publisher, who owns that content. Quote attribution is automatic and can be mistaken. Report errors to the address above and we will correct or remove them.
Fair use. Don't scrape the site at scale, try to get around plan limits, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Pro plan. Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Lemon Squeezy. It renews automatically until cancelled, and you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Prices and features may change with notice. Refunds follow Lemon Squeezy's policy and applicable consumer law.
Changes and availability. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. The service is provided as is, without guarantees of availability or accuracy, to the extent the law allows.
